TRIALS

Do we offer FREE TRIALS? Sort of…

This is the offer: Arrange to come and trial a class. If you like it, book up for the rest of the term (which will include payment for the initial session). If you didn’t like it, the class was with our compliments. Subsequent trials can also be arranged but only one complimentary session can be granted per 12 month period. Trials can be arranged (subject to availability) by emailing info@bracknellgymnasticsclub.co.uk for after-school classes, and daytime@bracknellgymnasticsclub.co.uk for daytime classes.

Please note that trials are not possible on classes with PAYC (pay-as-you-come) options.

WHAT TO BRING & WEAR

Please bring a water bottle with your child’s name on it. Please see this link for what to wear.

SPECTATOR AREA

Spectators are welcome. However, please note that priority should be for those attending recreational classes. Please note and adhere to the spectator policy.

ACCESS CARDS

Bracknell Leisure Centre is managed on behalf of Bracknell Forest Council by Everyone Active. Front of house reception and the barriers help to keep our site secure. If you planning to come regularly (i.e. once a week), please use this link to sign up for a free card which can be collected at reception: https://joinonline.everyoneactive.com/memberships
For one off appointments or if a card has been forgotten - please wait patiently at reception for the front of house team to let you in. We thank all members and their families in advance for showing kindness and consideration to everyone visiting / working at the centre.

TOILET TRIPS

The closest toilets are the male and female changing rooms at the top of the slope (between the exercise studios and the squash courts). There are also toilets by the cafe. Routes from the gymnastics hall to the door of the toilets are covered by the Bracknell Leisure Centre CCTV cameras. However, these are not directly accessible by the club. Parents / Guardians of children under 8 years of age are required to stay in order to accompany them to the toilets as necessary.

REFUNDS

The club issues refunds in two ways:

1) Transfer back to the card less an admin fee of £2

2) Bank transfer. The customer to be refunded will be invited to provide their correct account name and details for the bank transfer. Following the offer of a refund the onus is on the customer to provide the information for the refund. If the provided details are incorrect the club will correspond to resolve the error.

Refunds are issued for the following reasons:

- Customer booking error. This will typically be permitted via refund method no.1

- Club cancellation of course/session. The club will endeavour to reschedule before refunding where ever reasonably possible. If sessions are cancelled for this reason there will no administrative charge.

In the event of a government lockdown, the need to quarantine or closure due to hazardous weather, the club will issue home programmes. Refunds will not be given in these circumstances. The principle here is if home programmes are the only viable option for a customer for that date then it is deemed to be a reasonable solution.

COACHING

British Gymnastics qualifies coaches to work to a 1-16 ratio. However, our recreational classes operate to a 1-8 ratio to offer better quality of engagement. Furthermore, all of our coaches in ratio and qualified and insured through British Gymnastics, DBS checked and with additional training in safeguarding and positive coaching. BADGES

Bracknell Gymnastics Club has designed their own award scheme with the help of high performance coaches and sport scientists. The scheme aims to create a broad base of physical literacy that can also build towards any of the club’s performance pathways.
